Booroomooka’s 241 bulls average $21,987 In Australia's largest single vendor offering of Angus bulls.
Booroomooka Angus saw a full clearance of 241 bulls for a top of $55,000, an impressive average of $21,987, and a gross of over $5 million.
In the breakdown, 213 two-year-old, R-drop bulls topped at $55,000 and averaged $22,737, while 28 yearling, S-drop bulls reached a top of $32,000 and averaged $15,714.
The lead bull, Lot 1, R171 Booroomooka Real Impact, a son of Rennylea L519, set the pace of the sale selling for $55,000 to Bill and Margie, Brad and Ashlee Doak of Boxmoor Angus, Bundarra.
Tayho Pty Ltd, Ben Lomond, paid the second top price of $52,000 for Lot 29, R225 Booroomooka Redbank, also a son of Rennylea L519.
Manchee Agriculture, Narrabri, purchased the top-priced yearling bull, Lot 93, Booroomooka Paragon S32 for $32,000.
Once again, the most prolific buyer of the day was Jim Nivison, SN Nivison, and Co, Walcha, who bought 13 bulls averaging $20,462.
